The final field for the illustrious 2010 Blue Diamond Stakes has been released and certainly bodes well for a stunning 1,200 metre sprint on Saturday.

The Caulfield Racecourse will be host to some of the elite two-year-olds from around Australia who will compete at set weights for the massive $1 million prize money.

Drawing the favoured inside barrier is Tricky Tricky. The Leon Corstens-trained colt recently finished second in the Talindert Stakes (1100m) at Flemington, and will certainly be one to watch on Saturday.

The Paul Messara-trained Beneteau drew the ninth barrier and will certainly be an incredibly likely candidate to succeed in the 2010 Blue Diamond Stakes having won the Blue Diamond Prelude in record time.
The 2010 Blue Diamond Stakes will be the seventh race of the Arrowfield Stud Blue Diamond Stakes Day and is due to kick off at 4pm.
