Just eight two-year-olds have accepted to run in the 2012 Blue Diamond Prelude for colts and geldings at Caulfield Racecourse this Saturday January 11, 2012.

Included in the 2012 Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) final field and barriers is Cambiaso, who is looking to win the race on his way to the $1 million Blue Diamond Stakes on February 25, 2012.

Cambiaso has won one of his two race starts and has earned more than $64,000 in prize money.

The More Than Ready colt finished fourth in the Listed Blue Diamond Preview at Caulfield on January 26, 2012, behind The Travelling Man.

Cambiaso has drawn barrier three for the 2012 Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) and will be ridden by jockey James Winks.

Rusambo is also included in the 2012 Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) final field.

The Peter Snowden-trained colt finished third on debut in the Listed Thoroughbred Breeders Plate before finishing second to Amorino in the $70,000 City Tattersalls Plate  at Randwick last October.

Rusambo will be first-up in the 2012 Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) as he attempts to move on towards the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes 2012.

The Elusive Quality two-year-old has drawn barrier six for the 2012 Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) and will carry the set weight of 55.5 kilograms in the race.

Andre Roo Hoo, Ferment and Planet Voyage are also included in the 2012 Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) final field.
