Having stamped her claims as a serious racing contender over her short career to date, Fontiton ($2.30) remains outright favourite in 2015 Blue Diamond Stakes betting markets ahead of Pride Of Dubai ($6) and Lake Geneva ($11) with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Will Fontiton continued her perfect career start through the 2015 Blue Diamond Stakes, or will one of her many talented rivals hit the line in the clear?

Fontiton ($2.30)

Allocated the rails draw for her maiden tilt at the highest level, Fontiton’s commanding race wins in each of her competitive starts so far makes it hard to see any other contestant taking out the 2015 Blue Diamond Stakes. Strolling to the line to win the Inglis Banner (1000m) by six lengths on debut, Fontiton has continued to impress in taking out each of the Fillies’ Blue Diamond lead-in events this time in and is charged with carrying just 54.5kgs in the 2015 Blue Diamond Stakes.

Stoker ($13)

Having posted an impressive debut victory in his most recent start, Stoker will leave from the ideal barrier 6, has been confirmed to be partnered by champion jockey Damien Oliver and arguably offers punters the best value for money in 2015 Blue Diamond Stakes betting markets as a result. Placing second to Golden Slipper favourite Headwater in the Cactus Imaging Plate (1000m) on debut, Stoker has continued to build to the task in finishing third in the James Boag’s Premium Plate (1000m) on January 24th before taking out the $240,000 Inglis Premier (1000m) last time out on February 7th.

Lake Geneva ($11)

Lake Geneva has contested just one race start to date, but displayed several notable skills not attained by several of her Blue Diamond Stakes opponents thus far, and as a result is more than worth consideration for a bet. Jumping from the gates well in the Group 3 Widden Stakes (1100m), the daughter of Fastnet Rock was unlucky to be checked and forced to settle at the tail of the field. Blocked for a run rounding onto the final straight she appeared out of contention, but recovered incredibly well to hit the line second, just behind winner Fireworks.
