Extreme Choice is yet to taste anything but success through a short and impressive racing career to date and remains outright $3 favourite in 2016 Blue Diamond Stakes betting markets with Ladbrokes.com.au.

Trialling well in the lead-up to his competitive debut, Extreme Choice immediately stamped himself as a colt to follow when delivering a class field a resounding two length defeat in the Inglis Nursery (1000m) at Randwick on December 12th.

Resuming this time for a near five length win in the Group 3 Chairman’s Stakes (1000m) at Caulfield on February 6th and appears completely primed for a maiden Group 1 win in the Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Stakes.

Craig Newitt will take the ride on the son of Not A Single Doubt, who has been charged with overcoming the somewhat awkward barrier 13.

Stable mate Flying Artie has also been tasked with overcoming a wide draw in barrier 17, but carries strong black type form into the feature race and occupies the second line of betting at 2016 Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Stakes odds of $4.40 for success.

Flying Artie debuted to racing in the Group 3 Maribyrnong Plate (1000m) at Flemington on Stakes Day, and disappointing from the gates, produced a keen turn of foot to finish a close second.

Immediately returning to the paddock, the Artie Schiller colt trialled well leading into his return in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude C&G (1100m) on February 13th, in which he comfortably posted a maiden win.

Champion hoop Damien Oliver elected to take the ride on Flying Artie over Extreme Choice in the Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Stakes and is confident the colt is up to the mark.

Concealer has already delivered trainer Tony McEvoy a number of pleasing results and arguably represents the best value for money at 2016 Blue Diamond Stakes odds of $6 for success or $2.25 to finish in the first three.

Concealer was rated virtually no chance of success at $21 odds in the Group 3 Emirates Airline Plate (1000m) on debut at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day, but completed an impressive all-round effort to post a half-length victory.

Having savaged the line for a close second in the Group 2 Blue Diamond Prelude F (1100m) first-up a fortnight ago, the Nicconi filly will be partnered by in-form hoop Mark Zahra and could receive the run of the race from the ideal barrier 6.

Samara Dancer interestingly figures as the only other runner currently available at 2016 Blue Diamond Stakes odds of less than $10, having cut in from an opening quote of $9 to register as outright fourth-favourite and clear market mover.
