Catchy’s chances took something of a hit when she was allocated barrier 13, but the unbeaten filly remains an outright $5 favourite in 2017 Blue Diamond Stakes betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Catchy immediately stamped herself as a filly to follow when she debuted for an impressive win in the William Hill Plate (1000m) at Moonee Valley on December 9th.

Resuming this year for a near-three length win in the Peter Siggins Plate (1100m) on January 7th, the Fastnet Rock filly made a successful transition to black type racing when she stormed home to win the Group 2 Blue Diamond Prelude F (1100m) a fortnight ago.

Jockey Craig Williams has retained the ride on Catchy this weekend, who is treated well in the weights as a filly with only 54.5kgs in tow.

Tulip has so far received the greatest market share of attention from punters in 2017 Blue Diamond Stakes betting markets and the classy filly has firmed onto the second line alongside Pariah, at a quote of $6.50.

Tulip showed plenty in a barrier trial prior to making her competitive debut and franked that form when she won the 1Print Plate (1000m) on debut by two lengths.

Last seen finishing a close second behind Limestone in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Preview C&G (1000m) on January 26th, the Pierro filly should have no issue finding the pace early from barrier 8.

Pariah carries a strikingly similar form line to Tulip, but will require some luck in running from barrier 11 in the Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Stakes 2017.

Debuting for a comfortable win in the Group 3 Canonbury Stakes (1100m) on January 28th, Pariah was last seen running on for second in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude (1100m) at Caulfield a fortnight ago.

Property ($7) and Formality ($7.50) occupy the third and fourth lines of Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Stakes betting respectively, while the Ciaron Maher-trained Jukebox arguably offers punters the best value for money at an $8 quote.
